Founded in 1998 in Câmpina, Romania, the Medis Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organization officially accredited as a Continuous Medical Education (CME) provider by the Romanian National College of Physicians. For over 25 years, we have been dedicated to advancing medical knowledge, organizing countless congresses, symposia, workshops, and hands-on trainings that have brought together healthcare professionals from across the country and around the world.

 

Over the decades, our calendar has been filled with many remarkable events. From intimate hospital tours for medical students in Câmpina, to landmark international conferences such as the 21st International Conference of the “Society for Medical Innovation and Technology” in Sinaia, our work has taken us from the mountains of Romania to stages in Tel Aviv, Baden-Baden, Barcelona, Valetta, Rome, Krakow, and many more. Each event—whether local or global—has been an opportunity to connect minds, share innovation, and foster lasting professional relationships.

 

As a congress agent, our strengths lie within our team and our close partnership with the Medis Diagnosis and Treatment Center, enabling a uniquely integrated approach to medical event organization. Beyond events, we actively work to improve access to modern technologies for practitioners, link local hospitals with international counterparts, provide financial support for doctors and nurses to attend specialized training, and run medical education programs for the public.

 

We have also proudly contributed to multiple European Union projects, offering expertise in medical content, dissemination, and outreach—further extending our impact far beyond our home base in Prahova County.
